That names makes me want to puke. It's worse than "go"

Honestly nintendo, you can do better. Forget your nazi propaganda lessons and come up with something worthwhile.

I wish it was still April Fools.
On a side note, how come we don't have an angry smiley, now would be a perfect time to add one...

I saw the logo, and I was like:
"Dude! This is really cool!"
I saw the description and I thought:
"Nintendo, what have you gotten yourselves into this time? I said no kiddy image, and you disobayed me! I'm not angry, I'm dissapointed."
Then I thought:
"I'll live with it. At least I'll be able to make bad puns!"

These are the type of discussions I was looking for on the new name of the console. The article on the 4cr main page has about 300 comments and a lot are negative. Jevus, where did all the haters come from?
I like the name; I liked it even more after reading Nintendo's statement. Like the name or hate it, I am sure that everyone in the 4cr forums is going to get one anyway. I can see how the name might turn some people off at first but if Pooh Bear can keep his name and out-sell Mickey, I don't think that the name will matter very much. Besides, hardcore videogame fan are not the main target for Nintendo this time around and Wii will work well with that strategy.

Jesus, that makes the Nintendo Go actually sound good.
That is quite possibly the worst console name I have ever seen.
I'll still buy one on launch day. But, that is just a horrible name.
"So, what system do you want to play?"
"The Wii."
"You need to use the loo?"

I think people just need to Give it a chance......I posted this Earlier under the Comments of the Article(Edited):

I really don't have, and never have had, a problem with any of those names either you or Kaplan mentioned, Wii however...
I happened to be spying on Nintendo top dogs when they decided to name the system, this is what I heard:
guy1: Man, we really need to figure out a name before this E3
guy2: why not just stick w/ Revolution and maybe shorten it a bit. Like Rev or Revo, or even Revoluti
guy3: no, we got enough flak for not renaming DS...
guy2:*yells down hall* YO! MIYAMOTO! What sould we call our new-gen console?
Miyamoto:*slides down hall at high speeds in office chair* WEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I CAN'T HEAR YOU WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I think it will be awkward telling people that you have a wii. You'll meet some new person, and they will say,''I have a gamecube, a ps2, and a xbox360, what do you have?''. Then you'll say,''A gamecube, a ps2, and a wii''.
